astradot.org is a static informational website. We collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, no payment details, and no advertising trackers. This page explains the small amount of data we do handle.
What we collect

Waitlist emails are the only information that identifies you directly. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We process your waitlist email on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to remove you. We process aggregate analytics and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and understanding what to improve.
Cookies and analytics
We aim to keep cookies to a minimum. If we use privacy-friendly analytics, they may set a cookie or use a similar identifier to count visits; we do not use them to build advertising profiles or to follow you across other sites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the content.
How long we keep data
- Waitlist email: kept until you ask to be removed or until the waitlist is closed, whichever comes first.
- Aggregate analytics: retained only as long as needed for the reporting above.
- Server logs: kept for a short period for security and then deleted or aggregated.
Third parties
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf and may keep standard logs. We may also use an analytics provider to count visits. These providers handle data under their own terms and only for the purposes above. We do not share your email with third parties for their own marketing.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because this is a small project, the simplest way to exercise any of these is to email us. See the contact page.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted an email address, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The review date at the top of this page shows when it was last checked. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
