Who gets Dots first: plans, markets and what it costs

Dots are rolling out in tiers rather than to everyone at once. Here is how OpenAI has structured access, based on its launch announcement.

Eligibility also depends on market. OpenAI lists supported countries in its help center; the launch announcement only says “eligible markets.” We link the official list rather than reproduce a list that changes.

What’s included

• Your first Dot is part of an eligible Pro or Business Premium plan — no separate charge.
• The plan includes an allowance for “deeper work,” with extended limits during the first month after launch.
• Conversations with your Dot do not count toward ChatGPT usage limits. However, tasks a Dot starts or manages in Codex or ChatGPT Work do count against your existing usage limits as usual.

What pricing is not yet published

OpenAI has signaled a future where you can add more Dots and scale each Dot by increasing its speed or the total work it can take on per month. It has not published:

• the price of additional Dots,
• the price of speed/work “scaling,”
• or the deeper-work allowance numbers by plan.

We do not estimate these. Where a number is not published, this guide says so and links the official source.

How to read the plan math
